Teaching how to teach...

As everybody know there are some teachers who didn't learn well how to teach, even today the do not know how to deal with students. Fourtunately I had very good teachers in general, obviously not all were good teachers, but I think that finally i learnt from all of them.
The only thing that I can say, is that the worse teachers gave me the best examples about , how I do not have to do my job in the future.

About Inicia Test, I can say that this exam has showed the reality about a lot of teachers, that are already giving classes in our country. As the test proved, chilean teachers got the worst results between 16 other countries. What can we recongnize about this test? Obviously that we are not doing a great job preparing students to become in excelent teachers.

On my opinion the state needs to take care about how some private universities are preparing his students to become teachers. I mean, this is why this test gave this awful results, because there a lot universities which just give to their students knowledge and more knowledge about a specific subject, and they do no care about giving to their students the best tools to teach. The state needs to stay alarm about where are the resources, and what are the universities doing with it. We all know that there is a huge line which separate what is the education for rich people, and what is the education for poor people.

"Fred and Betty" - Grammar & Venezuelan soap opera.

Hi everybody!

If you are one of those who love Venezuelan's soap opera, and have terrible problems with phrasal verbs too, I found a solution.

"Fred and Betty" is a story about a phone conversation between this couple.

Inside this story you will find different sort of phrasal verbs, that you could see in a daily English context.

According to myself, I chose the most interesting and useful phrasal verb from this website, and here it is:

CHEAT ON e.g: Olga you are the best, I would never cheat on you, darling.

This example is very basic, but I recommend you go to the website and see the grammar, meaning, example sentence and synonyms in order to learn in a fruitful way this topic.

I hope you could enjoy learning english in this way, and having fun at the same time. Personally I had a lot of fan with this particular story, that showed me what can do a man in order to don't recongnize when he was unfaithful with his wife.

Well... know I'm a pitonise.

I don't know why, but I think that the earthquake happened because of my fault.

I'm regulary downloading movies to share and watch with my family, and the February 27th at 1:00 a.m I finished to download "2012". The thing is, that it was so late to watch a movie (2:00 a.m aproximate), and my mom and I didn't feel confortable to watch a movie for a long period of time, so I just proved it and watched it for a few minutes. Later on started all the drama.
When my house started to shake itself from one side to another, I stood up from my bed and I got out from my bedroom. Unfortunately my sister stopped me in the way and she huged me strongly, so we couldn't go down stairs and we stayed during the earthquake behind my door all time.
During the earthquake my dad ran to the LCD and he prevent that the TV felt to the floor, my mom could up the stairs and stay with my sis and I on the second floor.
After the earthaquake, and like evereybody know the moviles crashed and the electricity too. Luckily my laptop had battery and internet yet, so we could see wath was happening, also my local phone was working too, so we could call to the mayority of our relatives and know that everybody were safe.

Studying English

Well, this Friday is my first test of the semester. I’m strongly convinced that I’m going to have a good mark if I study seriously, unfortunately this is not happening. This week I have another two tests and I’m already studying a lot for all these subjects.
Normally my study habits start with a cold coke and 2 pieces of bread, and my laptop turn on and ready to process a lot of information from different websites and software that could help me. At the same time, I checked my notes from my notebook, especially on “Ciclo vital” (a subject which explained the development that everybody have on life).
However, studying English is pretty different than my other subjects, for instance on my English notebook I have only a few notes, and they are all connected with vocabulary more than an especial matter like relative clauses, used to, etc. On the other hand, on my ciclo vital’s notebook I have already bout 20 pages of real matter, and I need to learn everything for this Friday too. I hope god stay with me and I’ll make a great job.

My first Post (booooring)

I'll try to introduce myself saying that I'm a kind of crazy guy.
When people described me, everybody say that I'm a quite guy, kind of honest and generous young.
I really don't care much about what people think about me, maybe that is a problem because sometimes I have troubles with people, because I could be a little rude, I mean my personality could be a little bit impolite.
Honestly, my priority for this semester is arrived early to class all days, because as you know, I failed the last semester for the attendence.
I hope to everybody can pass the course and learn a lot of english.
